Little help from guitar buds.. Strictly speaking live with no mics. I have plenty to record with. I have these to play through & love different things about both. The ease of use of the line 6 & the tight distortion sound for metal but it lacks the balls that the head & cabinet have. The Head has an awesome clean & dirt Chanel ( which is great for hard rock) but as most of you know, tube heads arent that tight for metal. I have a few options Ive been think of. Im thinking about going old school and running a distortion pedal on the clean Chanel but not sure what to choose. Any ideas on that?( maybe a Ds-1) Or selling the head & cab & just get a line 6 spider valve 212 ( ala Mike McElfresh which sounds great). Any input would help, thanks
