Our staff consists of a team of professionals including but not limited to; Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, and Music Therapists. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for our part time Music Therapist position for Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care. This position is responsible for providing music therapy to patients and families during their time with Rainbow. Also this person will provide consultation, education and support to the interdisciplinary team on music therapy, while participating in the development of the interdisciplinary team plan of care. Skills & Requirements -Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy required. Masters level preferred. -Board certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists required. -Certificate completion of the American Therapy Association’s Clinical Training Supervision Workshop preferred -At least one year health care/hospice required. -Respects different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values. -Experience in end-of-life care preferred. -Maintains auto insurance and valid driver’s license in accordance with agency standards.
