Submitting to God and resisting the devil means not struggling against the commands God has given. Dont argue, thats what the devil wants you to do. Dont try to make excuses for your sins. That makes the devil smile too. Stay close to God on a daily basis, read His Word, attend Sunday school and Bible study, pray, listen for His voice and He will come. Hell help you obey when the devil comes. He will help you resist the temptation and tricks of the devil. The devil and God cannot occupy the same heart, so when God is there, the devil has to go! Submit yourselves, then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you................JAMES 4:7-8.
