Staff were excellent and though the room was a tad on the small size, it was clean and had a very comfy bed. The breakfast at their restaurant/cafe next door was always hot and perfectly cooked. What made this hotel fantastic was on our last day (having gone down to Hoi An and back up) having shared our itinerary they arranged airport pick up and back to the airport as our flight back to London wasnt until the late evening. The lovely woman on Reception kept hold of our luggage so we were able to do the last bit of sightseeing without lugging everything round. Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. We found all aspects of the Artisan Boutique Hotel to be fabulous. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed a trip to Ha Long Bay which they organised for us. Our high lights of the hotel were; enjoying a wonderful breakfast while watching the busy street below, and the fantastic staff who couldn’t do enough for us they made it a very special stay. Big thanks to Sophia who is great at her job and a lovely person. The location is fantastic, the rooms are lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast in their restaurant next door is great too and we stopped in there some nights on the way home to have a drink or snack as we liked it so much. If we are back in Hanoi we will stay here again for sure. We would say overall that our 5 nights stay at the hotel were very pleasant, the staff were all very nice and hospitable. They assisted us with almost all our request including tours. The hotel rate is reasonable and is strategically located on most tourist attractions. This hotel is highly recommended. I stayed in Artisan hotel for 2 night, everything was perfect. All staffs always smile and welcome me every time. I stayed in the room 403 with spacious area, nice bath room and beautiful balcony view. Mr Ninh (manager) and his wife showed me the useful information for shopping and nice restaurant surrounding. Moreover, they helped me to book the Halong bay tour for one day with reasonable price. I want to highlight emphasize the excellent buffet breakfast, sweet taste and good service. When I checked out, The bell boy- Manh and The brought my luggage to the lobby and help me to measure. I will come back to this hotel. Thank you so much all staffs!!! The front desk staff speaks good English and is very efficient. The restaurant/cafe they have next door serves good Vietnamese food and has a long balcony for guest to relax and enjoy looking down at street life down below. The breakfast that comes with the room is a really good buffet breakfast with a big spread of local and western dishes. Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony if possible. Avoid Vietnamese public holidays. Our group uses Hanoi as a point to stop on the way to Sapa for trekking. We stay a day or two in Hanoi before and after our treks and love this hotel. The location is close to lots of good places to eat and shop. It is also close to the lake which is good for a stroll and people watching. The thing that makes this hotel great is the service. The staff always seems to have the needs of the group in mind and takes very good care of us. I have seen things on here referring to the bait and switch our group has not experienced this. Overall we love the hotel and look forward to staying there in the future.
