Loads going on as usual - our new menu is going down really well and while were not as busy yet as we were in December (doh!) its great to see people out enjoying themselves (anyone whos currently on the Paleo-Dukan-5:2:1:go diets, rest assured, wed be delighted to see you back in February!) Katies got some lovely new wines in to tempt you off the wagon as well- a super 2008 St Emilion Grand Cru, a cheeky little Albarino and a belting Aussie Shiraz, to name but 3! Weve also added to our Welsh beer selection - getting some Purple Moose Madogs Ale in tomorrow - cant wait! (also trying to get hold of some beer from Hafod Brewery in Mold which Im told is really good- but like a lot of the smaller producers, theyve sold out over Xmas! watch this space) Couple of dates for the diary...Burns night on Saturday - last year we got pretty much snowed off if you remember, but Im hoping to have a clear run this time round! Scottish specials being finalised but I know theres some Venison steak on order for the weekend and the chefs have been asking for whisky for the pudding... Also should mention Valentines night (a Friday this year) - 5 course menu, lots of choices and sharing plates, £35 a head, one of Adams best I reckon - will get the menu posted online soon. Weve got some early tables for 2 left but youd need to be away by around 8pm (sure you could think of something to occupy yourselves with for the rest of the evening etc etc) Weve also got one table for 4 left - Let me or Katie know if you fancy coming in. ps. Dont forget us if youre looking for a really good lunch... and the first drinks on me (see post below!)
