Local Alert Weather Forecast, Thu., Nov. 6, 2014 Despite a few clouds pressing across the region today we will see a very comfortable day...as long as you dont mind some pretty breezy conditions through the afternoon. Under partly cloudy skies we will see our daytime highs climb into the mid 60s...unseasonably warm for this time of year. As we get into the afternoon gentle southerly breezes will turn westerly and gradually pick up to 15-20 mph. High pressure will start to build in and partially clear our skies tonight. Lows will dip into the 30s and those westerly winds will back off to 5-10 mph. High pressure will continue to gain strength and we will go through Friday and into the weekend with very pleasant days. Highs will be in the low 60s over the weekend, but do watch for overnight temperatures to dip to freezing and a little below for the next several nights to follow.
