Local Infrastructure Charges Reform The Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning has released a discussion paper today outlining the possible reform options to review the current local infrastructure charges framework. The paper is currently open for feedback and consultation until the 9 August 2013 and encourages local authorities, development industry participants, community and other interested stakeholders to make a submission. As the president of the UDIA Sunshine Coast branch, Andrew Stevens of KHA has been working closely with the UDIA and the State to achieve sustainable and prosperous outcomes for the Sunshine Coast region and supports the reform as a positive step.
