Long Term Goals vs. Short Term Goals and how to keep going: Long Term Goals like, I want to live a healthy and fit life sound great but can sometimes feel vague, difficult, or like youre trapped. I mean how do you keep at it? Within my long term goal of overall heath and well-being I like to set shorter goals to push myself and keep my eyes on the prize. As Beachbody Coaches its easy. After Christmas many of us had our sights set on the cruise and had a 90 day window to focus our efforts, dial in our nutrition, and get our workouts in. Then last week, we had FUN, we let it out, ate some dessert, worked out a bit less, didnt get as much sleep. But now its OVER. Instead of continuing on with eating sourdough bread and cheesecake, I re-group and set another goal. Vegas 2014, a chance for us coaches to get together for learning opportunities, networking, and more FUN!! Do you see the theme here? ;) So, now I set my eyes FORWARD, looking ahead. I enjoyed last week but this week I get it together. 81 days until we hit the Vegas strip. Just about a perfect amount of time to get in another round of Body Beast, or P90X3, or 4 rounds of the 21 Day Fix. It doesnt matter as long as I have a goal to push me through. So, what about you?
