Long day. Mom and I went to family services in Valpo for my daddy to get his nursing care paid for, the mountain of paper work is unbelievable! And of course we are missing stuff and have to go back next week. We then went to see dad for a long visit. He is fixing to go to Ohio for a business trip for four days to make bell parts for hangers. He showed us a plastic hanger and tried to explain where the bells would go on it. He will be catching a bus that comes up to the homes door that will take him to a train that is heading for Ohio. We got a chuckle out of his plans cause if we dont make light of it, we would be crying all the time. He asked us more than10 times how old he is and what moms phone number is. My mother is a saint, she patiently answers all his questions over and over without getting frustrated and agrees with him about his Ohio trip. Other from that, he has most of his marbles. He named all his brothers and sisters in the order they were born and talked about the one room school house, remembering there were only 3 kids in his age group and class. There was one teacher who taught all the grades. Some days he can remember his past and not the present and the next day, it is reversed. He looked good and seems content. I wish I could have a Tribble cuddle tonight cause I sure could use one!!!
