Long food for thought of the day. 😂 It can be difficult to engage in a conversation with someone with a fixed mindset, because it tends to lead to arguments and beating a dead horse or worse case scenario: lost friends. Encourage others to adopt a growth mindset, meaning always willing to listen to new points of views and being open to healthy discussion. And if all of that still fails, Agree to Disagree. Things Im hearing too often lately: Well, I have been doing _____ for X amount of years or my expertise in this profession tells me... or I have a title in this... Never stop learning. I may have a Business degree (thats just paper - Cs get degrees and I know many intelligent people who DONT have a college education), I may have been a wife, a mom and a business owner for almost 7 years (I still royally screw up daily). I will never tell someone Ive got it all figured out, because I dont. Im constantly learning new things every day, thankful for new challenges and dont mind eating a slice of humble pie every so often. 😊
