Long issue short, Net Neutrality is our ability to access information freely online. The world wide web is supposed to be an open space where we all have equal access to content. What’s been happening is that Net Neutrality is being threatened because there’s a plan by the FCC that will allow companies like Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner and AT&T to create an internet fast lane and a slow lane, based on what folks can pay for. Today, many huge websites (like NetFlix and Tumblr) are participating in #InternetSlowdown to show us all how it could be if the FCC gets rid of Net Neutrality. Speak up against this and sign this letter that will be sent to your Congressional rep. Yes, you should care because it affects us all. Imagine trying to watch your fave show on NetFlix and it stopping ever 2 minutes to reload. BOOO!!! Please share this so others can know.
