Long post. :D So, way back in ... May? June? I started a book based on one image, that of a woman controlling bugs that swarmed behind her in a vast tornado of buggy death. I posted a chapter every week in our group and received feedback from amazing writers and readers. Now that Im really going back over the story, getting it spiffed up for its next read by Maria Kay, if shes still interested, (Im slow, Maria!) I have to say thanks to everyone these past months who have helped me become a better writer. Its amazing the growth from the first chapters to the last. I love how the feedback changes from What have you got against hyphens? to Brent doesnt strike me as an educated intellectual type. This has been a great experience and Im looking forward to a lot more learning and growing as a writer. But heres my shout out to Em, Matthew, Amanda, Samuel, ML Rachel, Fiona, and Matt. Thank you for all your help! I appreciate you as I crack open Bug Queen again to take into account your feedback and suggestions so I can make the bestest, most horrific horror story about bugs and alien fungus that I can. :D
