Long post alert! Ok so I have had some things on my mind for weeks! I feel like God has wanted me to share but I didnt know how to go about it. My job as a coach is to inspire you all but its also to be real with u as well. So here goes.... After we got back from Cali in march...I noticed a pattern in these severe stomach pains that I had been having since January. And I mean I would crawl into a ball cry severe. I started doing some research and decided it was time to get checked out. So I went to the dr and as she told me the possibilities...I just stared. She told me it could be CROHNS or CANCER. 25 years old...cancer??? I had just started putting my health first, I had a beautiful little girl who needed me, 2 businesses and was a full time student. I didnt have time for cancer. So the next 2 weeks were torture. I cried. I prayed. I cried some more. I prayed some more. Brian kept telling me I was ok but it was still in the back of my head. So finally the day for my procedure came to find out what my body was doing...CANCER FREE!!! I cried when the dr told me. And the nurse asked me if I was in pain cuz of my tears. I told her no...I was just happy. Well to make a long story short, they figured it out. I will eventually need surgery but it can wait for now. When all of this happened, life was going great. We were put through that trial to grow stronger. Brian Fleshman and I grew stronger as a couple, we grew closer to God and we learned to not take life for granted. I could have folded and gave up...but I prayed instead. God is good....he always provides.
