Long rough night, My dog willa (blue healer border collie mix) had a REALLY nasty reaction to a wormer medicine I used and even though she has never had that reaction before I will NEVER use it again or any chemical wormer again!!! my biggest worry is heart worm since we have so many mosquitoes up here but I will tell you that it was so scary and she still isnt 100% and there is a chance she never will be according to the vet so its not worth it. I was up every hour last night giving her pedialite and trying to keep her from dieing. It was so horrible seeing her so disoriented and she still cant see very well and shes still weak and not steady on her feet. I prayed so hard last night for her to be ok and God listened and is healing her but its a wait and see now on whether she will recover her eyesight fully and be healthy again. Im so broken up because Im the one that gave her the medicine. there is just no worse feeling than knowing you caused your beloved pet to suffer unnecessarily. Like I said she is doing better but were not out of the woods yet. from now on I will simply stick with diatomaceous earth in their food for worming and just cross my fingers they dont get bit by mosquitos. its going to be a long day
