Look... my opinion is quite simple... and you will find it to be consistent over time. 1. Obama pulling out of Iraq to fulfill a campaign promise against the advice of his Generals was nothing short of treasonable. I do not believe, for a second, that he was not aware of the consequences of such a bone-headed action. The rise of ISIS and the gift of proxy to Iran are direct consequences that he must have known about. However, as far as National Security goes, the real culprit here was Biden. Touting the pullout as one of Obamas great successes, he began a tradition in this administration of refusing to speak truth to power; following blindly despite the cost to our sovereignty. The rise of ISIS has certainly showed Bidens willingness to follow--as the willingness of many on the left to do likewise--to be, at best, careless. The gift of America is the ability to tell the truth without suffering the impositions that would occur in lesser nations. Seeing the future of this country I love I now use this gift with abandon. 2. Obama ignoring the coup de tat in Egypt and the subsequent massacre of Muslims settled the age-old bet between. Ayman Al-Zawahiri and the Muslim Brotherhoods political faction; which had eschewed, till then, militancy in place of a well crafted political option. They wanted to play in the arena of democracy. By shutting them out, we gave them little choice but to embrace violence. But it was the hypocritical way in which it was done that was startling, ignoring the bloodiest days in Arab history for sake of stability and hoping to have credibility, going forward, viz Arab on Arab affairs. Amazing. Here the culprit was Kerry, whose willingness to follow blindly created a resurgent Al Kaeda. Is someone getting the picture? Obama does something really foolish, and I dont believe he is not aware of what hes doing, and then some white American leads the left into folly... so that half of America is corrupted and Obama can point at them and say them nko? Same things with the beheading of Foley and the response and again the willingness of Americans to follow blindly. In the Republican Bush-led administration, the excesses of our projections have been brushed under the table as just being in the shadows something, our darling Andrea does not wish to bring up during our awesome dinner party. Bringing it up means you HATE America. And on the left, pointing out the National Security threat Obamas faked incompetence has become similarly yields accusations of bigotry and whatnot. What we require is consistency. People who will reflect all actions not against groupthink and ideology, but against the sacred declaration upon which this nation was founded. For posteritys sake, I reproduce it here.
