Looking and listening at all the arguments for yes and no votes for Independence for Scotland. i thought i would say my thoughts. I moved to Scotland just over 9 years ago, i lived in Southend on Sea, about 50 mins east of central London. when i moved to Scotland i knew nothing of the atrocious behavior that fell upon Scotland from The English through the centuries, like the Highland Clearances and all the many battles that happened over the centuries. In the schools i attended this was never spoken about. Since living here in Scotland, i have a better paid job, i can have a free eye test, currently in England the cost imposed by Westminster is around the £25-£30, i have free prescriptions currently in England the cost imposed by Westminster is over £8 per item. Property in Scotland is a lot cheaper than many regions in England. To rent the same flat i have in the area i used to live would be £200 - £250 per month more expensive, even more in London. i know these are just a couple of personal examples of the differences i know from living both sides of the border but if Scotland stayed as part of the UK then there wont be much to stop Westminster imposing these kind of charges in Scotland. speaking personally i would not move back south of the border for many reasons, just some things to think about if your undecided. Its a BIG YES for me :)
