Looking back in the dark...As the government puts on a radical push to deal with the deadly virus by imposing a controversial time limit on trading activities, some brave heads have a critical thought on such unprecedented policy. From a radical economic perspective, the Leones is devaluing every second as the dollar enjoys some great monopoly over our economy.Wicked business and evil politicians are are hoping for such continuation.Economists know that very well but non have come out of the shadows to attack the failing governments economic policies. What is happening here is that,Ebola, which is a factor though a contributing one has taking the lead, serving as the main reason to the why factor.Inflation is a serious concern but no matter how generous you asked them,Ebola is the answer to inflation. If you order all businesses to close at 6:00pm and deprive the oppressed youths of food in the night, dont tell us it is a good initiative;no!that is just what I call rationing.Come out and tell us the economy is failing but dont just put everything on Ebola.Inflation is real just like Ebola but the people are asking for an economic explanation on the imposition of time limit on all trading activities...The people of this country have right even in the state of medical emergency and those rights for example to good food, expression of views must be respected and protected and not respited.Yesterday I saw a man fall to the ground at night because he was hungry and their was no food to buy though he has his devalued Leones. This man was crying with hunger and he was thirsty but there was no water or food to buy.Imagine how many of his type are affected by this brutal policy and how many will be mistakenly quarantine for the wrong reason.Their are still homeless people out there who deserves justice;they are the streets because they dwell there like most amputees and blind people with their orphan children.Psychologically, everybody is affected by Ebola and so we are all paranoid. What have we done to see that this people dont die of hunger and thirst in the night? Are we ready yet to accept that we have failed the people of this nation?May God blessed Sierra Leone and Kill the human Ebola virus together with the contagious disease.Help Kick Ebola and Inflation Out of Sierra Leone.
