Looking back over the years, remember being 16 and living and working in a small family run insurance broker/mortgage consultants in Nelson Road, Whitton, which is now Bucks hairdresser. We had lots of high profile clients one of which was Tom Jones, his manager Gordon Mills came in one lunchtime whilst the bosses were at lunch. Tom had just had his first hit with Its not unusual which was okay but not my cup of tea, Gordon asked me what I thought of his new release, whats new pussycat, I said I thought it was old fashioned and rubbish, made him laugh. He asked if I could sing as he liked my little mod look, why didnt I lie, may have been famous now, ce la vie xx
