Looking back to my youth.... My memories of SPRINGDALE ELEMENTARY were amazing... Innocent times with great mentors.... MR. MILLER(PRINICIPAL), MRS. MILLER(MUSIC), MRS KEITH(2ND GRADE), MRS Betty Deatherage(3RD GRADE), MRS BOBBYE SMITH(4TH GRADE), MRS JULIAN/VAUGHN(5TH GRADE)/ MR. STEELE(6TH GRADE/ MUSIC & GUITAR) All of these folks truly molded many kids during through the 70s & early 80s... From Mr. Miller grabbing my cheeks to Mr. Steele playing guitar in the classroom.... Many great memories of kickball, music, those amazing homemade rolls in the lunchroom, & the cool bus rides down Springdale road on the way to provence road.. Nice to reflect back! oh yea... & Michelle Peters-Hill sitting with me on the bus one day... LOL funny the things we remember...
