Looking for a Great Dane no older than 8 months old for my daughter Shelli. Shes 12 yrs old. She was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome in 2009 and with Gigantism in 2010. She is 59 and weighs 210 lbs and wears a size 13w in womens shoes. Her estimated height that she will get is 611. We were told she only has 66% of her lung compacity last yr, and her eyes degenerative. She has dealt with bullying at school to the point where she wanted to hurt herself and is now on home bound while in therapy. She feels alone because if how big she is. She wants to be a preacher and a model and a Dr when she gets older. She is a humble child, not greedy or shallow. All shes asked me for is a Great Dane pup. Please help me find her one.. This is a rescue, so Im sure they go through here all the time.. Her dream Dane is grey spotted, but I dont think the color would matter all that much.. She wants something thats going to get big like her so she doesnt feel like the only giant in the world. There was a Marfan Awareness luncheon that was held in my daughters honor on Feb 19 in Frankfort, Ky this yr.. If you go to ket.org and look in public affairs click on legislative issues in house chambers archives on feb 19 at 2pm the first 18 minutes have her in it.. She is an activist for the Marfan Foundation. Just asking for a little help.. Thanks.
