Looking for a weight-managing/hunger controlling, low-calorie, vitamin packed, cardiovascular-benefiting, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healthy heart meal? Look no further. This is how you make a salad. Romaine Lettuce is great for you weight-control freaks because you can eat it in large portions without worrying about calorie intake being it only takes up 15-17 cal a serving but due to the high water content it makes you full quicker. Tuna Fishs Omega-3 fats may lower your risk of cardiovascular disease. It also controls weight, lowers blood pressure. I love tuna lol (thats why theres 3 cans there - oh yeah its a great source of protein!) Upon research its been noted that the fat content found in Sicilian Olives (and olive oil) have been shown to decrease blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular disease. Cherry Tomatoes would be more beneficial for men containing Lycopene, a compound aiding prostate health. (So eat your tomatoes fellas!) Baby carrots are great for weight management/ hunger control, eye sight & blood pressure. Pink Lady Apples are a great source of Vitamin C & also contain fiber. Sundried Cranberries are beneficial only in small servings... About 1/3 cup or a handful because of its high calorie & sugar content. If you want to increase your dose, try looking for low-sugar sundried cranberries but dont defeat the purpose of its blood sugar regulating, cholesterol-lowering, antioxidant benefits. Now...who wants some salad? #fordfitness #fordfit
