The Soldiers Daughter by Ryan Sprague Synopsis: A year after Carly’s father is killed in the line of duty, she befriends her older brother’s former roommate, Jasper. With her brother following in the fathers footsteps and shipping off to the Middle East, Carly and Jasper begin to connect, sharing more than they ever intended. And the war hero her father was once perceived as, slowly starts to crumble in the wake of a startling truth. Sean - Male. Late 20s. Clean cut, all-american type. Very to the point. May be a little macho, but theres a soft side hidden deep underneath. Older brother of Carly and former roommate of Jasper. Allison - Female. Early 20s. Free-spirited. A little naive, but knows more than she lets on. Definitely a partier. Mary Ann - Female. Age 55. Mother of Carly and Sean. A loyal soldiers wife. A bit neurotic, and could snap at any moment.
