Looking for an indie horror game to play during Halloween? Theres Year Walk for you. Based on Swedish folklore and mythology, you play a man doing the Year Walk; a long forgotten Swedish tradition involves fasting in a dark room for hours so as to be open to mythical creatures and spirits in order to gain insights to his future before going out on a quest to look for these creatures. The graphics are beautiful and the game is played in a first person perspective through the eyes of the Year Walker. There are a few jumpscares though so brace yourself if you arent fond of stuffs jumping into your face. The twist in the story is also quite unexpected; lets just say something bad happens and you have to do something to yourself in order to avoid that Those who are into H P Lovecraft novels or wants a beautiful looking horror game will be interested in picking this one up. Its available on PC, Android and iOS (you have to download the Companion app as well in the app stores for the android and ios versions in order to progress the plot) Check it out!
