Looking for something besides Sevin Dust to use in my veggie garden.. Its gonna be in the back yard where the boys will be playing all summer, so its gotta be safe for them and Roxy.. Not like that diva will spend more than 3 minutes at a time outdoors anyway, but for the boys.. I have looked at marigolds and beneficial nematodes (because I have a slug problem and slugs love marigolds but marigolds keep some other pests away... I have also looked into purchasing some ladybugs to deposit.. Any idea for keeping squirrels out would be great too.. Im to the point of painting ping pong balls red and dousing them with cayenne peppers.. I also read something about Irish springs soap.. Basically, I dont know what to do!!! This is a trial run after the garden disappointment 2 years ago!!
