Looking for something fun to do with the family tonight? 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m Balloon Glow & Music by The 23 String Band on Egg Lawn in Beckley Creek Park. Thanks to the Balloon Society of Kentucky, the Egg Lawn will shine as never before on the evening of the 6th as balloonists from the region gather for a special nighttime balloon glow. Balloons will be tethered around the Egg Lawn from 7:00-9:00 PM bringing a variety of colors and shapes to life above the heads of visitors. While the glow is setting the mood, Louisville’s very own, critically acclaimed 23 String Band will be belting out the best of Kentucky’s new musical sounds from the center of the Lawn. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and families for what is certain to be a very special evening. Beer and light concessions will be on sale to attendees. Free and open to the public. **SPECIAL PARKING NOTE: Please enter through the Garden Gateway entrance to Beckley Creek Park off Shelbyville Rd. The S. Beckley Station Rd. entrance will be closed to manage traffic at this event.**
