Looking for two Indigenous youth one male one female between the ages of 14-23: YOUTH DIRECT (HIP HOP THEATRE) MENTORSHIP PROGRAM Selected youth will receive an invitation to participate in the free Youth Direct Mentorship Program as well as a $200 honorarium. During six sessions, youth will be paired with a mentor to further develop their storytelling & hip-hop theatre skills (in the hip-hop skill of their choice) and create a piece to be performed May 25th & 31st at the Roundhouse theatre before the Vancouver premiere of the professional hip-hop play, Sal Capone. Youth Direct participants will have the opportunity attend Sal Capone Rehearsal and meet the cast. Confirm your availability for the following program dates: April 19, 26, May 3 & 10 (2-5 pm): Mentorship & group sessions. May 17: Sal Capone Rehearsal (12 am- 1 pm) - Lunch - Mentorship session: (2-5 pm). May 24: Youth Direct Rehearsal (11 am -1 pm). May 25 & 31: Youth Direct Performances (12 am -2 pm).
