Looks like a simple part, right? It is except for the shitty material. My question for the group is, what do you guys use for single point threading that will break a chip. Material is DIN 2391 E.G. St35. Its gummy and leaves a birds nest on my bar that breaks the insert constantly. I have to hold concentricity of .0008 or I would just tap them. Currently, Im using an NT2L insert. Which happens to be my only choice. We need to get the tooling to make this job a money maker instead of braking the bank.
