Lord Mayor of the City of London, Rt Hon Fiona Woolf. Photo: gov.uk PANO – A high-level trade delegation of the United Kingdom (UK), led by the Lord Mayor of the City of London Fiona Woolf, will visit Hanoi city and Ho Chi Minh city from October 5th to 7th, 2014, announced the UK Embassy in Vietnam. Vietnam is considered an important market for the UK investors and this is good timing for cooperative relations, opening up more opportunities to accelerate growth between the two nations. In the framework of the upcoming visit to Vietnam, Ms Fiona Woolf will meet with Vietnamese senior leaders, policy makers and businesses to discuss methods to cooperate closely, aiming at enhancing future sustainable developments for the two countries. Besides, the two sides will discuss opportunities to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in the infrastructure and education projects, the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, and the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) between European Union (EU) and Vietnam.
