Lots going on in my head as I read this article. Portland has been such an electric place for me, but it is changing faster than fast. Hard to swallow the notion that I play a small role in young people not being able to have the same experience here. I could live without the surplus of food and drink. Im most keenly concerned that my friends dont all move away in 10 years, and that those of us that can stay dont become deceivingly entitled and sterile. Dont get me wrong, Im very grateful for this rollercoaster ride and proud of all the cultural bounty weve built, just pondering the bigger picture.
