Love! Its good to love, its great to be loved. I thank everyone for your prayers, your comments and 100s of likes to my post. In tough times its comforting to know my motocross family loves my boy. I am so proud of him and just want to show him that. FYI, Yesterday Daniel Lundin had a horrific dirtbike crash. I rode in the ambulance to AVhospital and watched as 20+ people worked to save his life. 2 minutes into the 20 min catscan the doctor gave me grim news of severe brain clot, fixed dilated pupils, and poor vitals. He was rushed into emergency brain surgery. He was really really hurt. A couple hours after surgery my sister said he squeezed on command. That was the hope I wanted. Over the next 10 hours he was completely unresponsive and I questioned if he truly responded earlier. My day ended with me questioning my entire life including my faith. Today was a better day. Daniel definitely responded. He squeezed, he gave 2 thumbs up, and he stuck his tongue out when asked to. Best case, he has months of recovery that we can only take one day at a time, but this is a huge step in the right direction. I believe he will recover and I believe he will come back to be a part of your families. Please take the time and go kiss your kids, your parents, or someone you love. I am leaving the hospital to go home and kiss my kids sleeping in their beds and thank my wife for being amazing. This would make Daniel happy. Dont think it, do it. Ps, I thank the motoplex crew for getting it done without me. I dont know if I should, but Im going to take my little baby boy Robert Dane Lundin to ride with his friends tomorrow night at avmotoplex. Again, thanks for all the love.
