Love Ralph Peters commentary. While he gets a bit emotional on TV, his logic is almost always rock solid. We are faced with a foe who hates us for our freedoms, beliefs, and our culture, and has made it perfectly clear that their goal is nothing short of the destruction of our culture and the enslavement of our populace. Despite this, we seem to feel we must apologize for defending our nation, our culture, and our values. We have the same sorts of tired appeasers and apologists (including a crew in the White House) who advocate accomadation, just as those in Europe did with the Nazis. The whole Why cant we just get along or Kill em with kindness clowns that always shove their way to the forefront when unpleasant realities become apparent. Now, as always, they are completely misguided and wrong, and will only delay the reckoning. Until we make it 100% obvious to the islamic jihadists that a) we WILL defend ourselves and our interests, and 2) we will do it in such a way that it will make the cost and pain to them unbearable, then we will not see the end to their attacks or their global jihadist insurgency. There is much blood to be spilled before this is settled. The only question we really can ask is whose blood are we going to see spilled.
