Love her or hate her .Speaker Susan Kihika of the Nakuru County Assembly can be rash and brusque sometimes but theres no doubt that shes witty and often humorous even at times when shes in the thick of situations. Like today as MCAs debated the Countys budget, almost every MCA was on their feet continuously seeking a chance to speak (especially complaining about omissions in allocations) about the budget proposals. At one point when all seemed out of control she dropped her order order calls and just, to the amazement of many just stared at the ceiling without allowing anyone to speak. After some time she said she was consulting with myself after which she asked the MCAs to go and read the proposed budget properly so that the debate continues tomorrow. Surprisingly, the order won her accolades from whole house and the MCAs were left to continue with their debates, in small caucases. She appears to have capacity to read the mood of the MCAs every time accurately.
