[Loyalty] (please share) Ok, so today, Glenn Beck spoke at Liberty University. I was very excited to see Glenn Beck speak to us. Yeah, hes a Mormon, but Ive been following him quite a bit, and I read articles from the Blaze from time to time. Faith notwithstanding, he still believes that Gods word is law, and true. That, to me, makes the entire difference. In John 15, we are told that we will have the Holy Spirit after Jesus leaves us. This Holy Spirit is the Advocate, the Counselor, and it is through Him that we have the power of discernment. With this discernment, and with Gods word, we are to determine truth from around us. Today, we got this very message. Unfortunately, no one heard it. But why? Well, Glenn Becks credibility was destroyed. But is this simply because of his Mormon faith? His mormon faith was not the subject of today! Todays talk was about Gods word, the commandments of the new and old testament! Not from the book of Mormon. I heard people today comparing todays convocation to Mormon propoganda. Ive heard people say Hey, we should have Islamic speakers come to Liberty and speak to us! I mean, its ok, right? We just had a Mormon speaker! Both of these are completely untrue. He said one thing about Joseph Smith to talk about peaceful motivation. He cant be compared to an Islamic speaker by any stretch of the imagination, because unlike Mormonism, Islam actually thinks the Bible is heresy. Both of these people, and my gosh I love you both to death, are acting like complete fools! Think before you speak! I really could not care less if we become a press nightmare for speaking and professing the truth, but what we are becoming a press nightmare for is not for professing the truth at all, but rejecting it! You fools, you swarm mind of Liberty University. Let me show you the foolishness you sit on! Luke 9:49-50: John said to Jesus, “Master, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he isn’t in our group. But Jesus said, “Don’t stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you.” Lets compare the Mormon faith and Islam again. Mormons confess that Jesus is the Christ, son of God, died and resurrected, and is the salvation for our sins. They misinterpret that Jesus created the earth under the direction of God (probably because they deny the trinity), but nonetheless, Jesuss salvation is based on the payment and resurrection, and the accepting of that sacrifice! What do the Muslims believe? Jesus was a prophet. Anyone who believes He was God must be put to death...... yeah, thats totally the same. GET OUT! How dare you! How dare you take the best of four years of convocation and throw it away! Shame on you for taking a Biblically sound message and saying Bah! Hes a mormon, dont listen to him! We are known by our fruits, right? Well right now, Liberty University isnt gonna be known for Self Control, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, and Faithfullness (you denied faithfulness when you denied a Scriptural message all for your pride!)
