Lucas met his new pediatrician yesterday. She is amazing, kind, and extremely proactive. She put him on a steroid cream and dissolvable tablet, and also an antihistamine. She thinks his continuous rash is from the IV IG treatment he had in the hospital. She also wants to send him straight to an eye doctor in UMass to get his blocked tear duct fixed. She was mortified that our previous doctor neglected to address that situation along with the shape of his head. I feel very safe and content with this decision I made to switch him. He is now in good hands. With all that said I am still a little annoyed that I just had to spend $50 on 10 dissolvable steroid tablets for him. Insurance covered some of it but not all. Its for five days. Damn!
