Luis is a new cook in our kitchen at lunch time. He is from Lombardys and Whiskey Cake. He is creating some amazing sauces and soups. Yesterday we had a wonderful, fresh Gazpacho. Today, we have a broth based lintel soup with artichoke hearts, celery, carrot, spinach leaves and fresh herbs. It is light & delicious :) The new bread is topped with garlic and rosemary and bursts with flavor in our sun-dried tomato dipping sauce. The new Alfredo Sauce is to die for; incredibly light with a buttery richness. The new Marinara Sauce is so flavorful with fresh herbs like Sage, Thyme & Rosemary. These sauces debut next week. Keep an eye out for more new things at Marcus Cafe.
