Luke 17:10 KJV So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. Are we only doing what we have been commanded to do? The average soldier does that. The average employee only does what is required, and nothing more. Average will never get you promoted. We are unprofitable if we only do what we are commanded to do. Metal of Honor recipients are those who go above and beyond what is commanded or required, even at the risk of their lives. Promotions and pay raises only come to those employees who do more than what is required. Jesus went all the way to the cross for us. What will we do for Him?
