(Luke 17:11-19) I passed the group as they cried, “UNCLEAN!” I pulled back my hands, not wanting to touch them. Then the lepers stopped yelling. I turned to look. There stood Jesus before them. One, two . . . ten men. They started calling Him from a distance. “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” Jesus replied something about going to see the priests. Was He sending them away for healing? Why didn’t Jesus just . . . My thoughts were interrupted. The men turned toward the Temple, they hadn’t gone twenty feet when they stopped again. They were looking at one another. I could only stare. They were just a stone’s throw from where I stood. They had all been healed! No really! They began shouting and walking on to the Temple again, to give thanks, I thought. Then, one broke free and ran back toward Jesus. I followed, spellbound. They guy had thrown himself at Jesus’ feet and was thanking Him! I just stood and cried. Jesus had touched me one day too. That could’ve, no should’ve, been me! You, too?
