Luke 22:44 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. I posted this scripture a few days ago but I felt like I needed to post it again. This world is not going to last much longer the way it is headed. We have set aside Friday nights for a prayer night everyone is welcome to attend. The doors are open at 7. Thank you for a handful of folks that came out last night. It melts my heart for my 10 year old grand babies to be in that alter pouring out their hearts. It dont matter how few we are in number, the bible says in Matthew 18:20, 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. There is a lot we want to see happen in the church and I personally will not sit back any longer waiting, I am going to lay it all before God. We need to put the gifts to work. God is pouring out His spirit and we are sitting back watching to see who gets what. We all have gifts that are laying dormant, Its time we focus on the Holy spirit, see what He wants for the church, not what we want, We want to have programs and things that puts us in the spotlight but, I think its time we get a few bloody knuckles doing the back ground work not caring who sees us or dont see us. The spot light will come in Gods time. Matthew 6:1-4 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. God will use us to draw people to Him but we have to be willing to do His will. In order to do His will we have to be empty, willing vessels. Self has got to go. Prayer is a small sacrifice, that can accomplish great things.
