Lungchok- Kamery ( South Sikkim) 17th March 2014: Election campaign of Smt Tulshi Devi Rai Sikkim Democratic Front Party Melli constituency for the general poll going on full swim. To day the third day of the campaigning reached reached Bimberay ground for Sumbuk Kartikey and Lungchok- Kamery Gram Panchayat unit. The SDF candidate was given warm welcome by the party supporters of Kitam Manpur GPU offering Tika, traditional Khadas and slogans. Smt Radha Sharma, Panchayat President of sumbuk Kartikey Gram Panchayat Unit while giving the welcome address stressed that Kitam- Manpur Gram Panchayat said “Action speaks louder than voice, today the action of SDF government is seen as a day light in before the people” he stressed. R.P Gurung PAnchayat President Lungchok- Kamery Gram Panchayat stressed that SDF is a party of secularism, peace , tranquillity but SKM party is trying to dilute the concept of secularism. SKM is doing fusion of the Hymns and the worship songs as their party songs which is a great attack to the minority like Christian. SKM youths attacked the house of Paster Adam Subba at Turuk which is the attack to all Christian community of Sikkim. He also apprised for the maintenance of peace and security in the locality. Mahindra Kapil CEM Member urged not to divide among the communities but unite for the landslide victory of SDF Party. Kumar Singh Rai representative of School management committee of Sumbuk Secondary school thanked Tulshi Devi Rai for the up gradation of sumbuk Secondary school to Secondary school. Shri R.N.Rai, General Secretary, SDF Party South District, in his address stressed that after the formation of SDF government under the leadership of Shri Pawan Chamling the source of development opened in Sikkim, the days of starvation and hard days of poor people are gone. Politics we do for the ideologies, principles, issues and programmes. We have to follow politics as the ideals of our life. Election 2014 is not about the wining and formation of Government but election this time is for the Peace, tranquillity, Brotherhood and unity of the state. Chamling is an embodiment of Peace Tranquillity and development, so we have to follow the vision of Shri Pawan Chamling. In last term of our party I have tried my level best for the holistic development of the GPU. SDF Party is the another name of Development, Peace and Tranquillity. I will work for the upliftment of both Sumbuk- KArtikey and Lungchok- Kamery Gram Panchayat unit as last term. In 2009 election there was 9 other candidate against me in the constituency and they took about 2400 votes all together in opposition folk but this time the opposition folk will not get more than 500 votes because i have worked hard for the up liftmen of people in Sumbuk and Lungchok as per the guidance of our Party President. I am here to get blessings from u all. I have work selflessly according to the principles and ideologies of our party. We are in politics for the socio-economic, socio-political and socio-cultural up liftmen. We have to vote for SDF if we want our future secure and to maintain peace and tranquillity. School to JHS, ans so many other works we have done which has been seen by the people. Further addressing the gathering she urged the people and the youth brigade to strictly follow the discipline and ideologies of SDF party that has always practices good politics for the upliftment of the poor and maintain peace and harmony in the state. She lambasted the opposition for the propagating the politics of violence, disturbance, fear in the state. The so called opposition party are scaring the people, vandalizing of public properties and derogating and attacking the women in the state. She urged the people to vote for SDF for peace, security , brotherhood, harmony and holistic development. The SDF party is dedicated for the creation and SKM party is for the destruction. Within a year of its establishment of SKM party they killed two SDF party supporters, attacked and injured more than 1000 our peoples, vandalised more than 200 vehicles, cut more than 1200 tress, destroyed more than 100 houses and disturbed the peace and security in the state, they do not have any programmes, policies. They are just misguiding the youths and the general people but SDF government never misguided and mislead the people in its 20 year term of government. We have to take collective responsibilities to make the save the future of our future generations, so each one of our party workers and supporters as equal as the candidate of the part.
