MAI DHAI ROCKS THE BAND...ON SARAK SARAK (road road)... The song - TopicsExpress

MAI DHAI ROCKS THE BAND...ON SARAK SARAK (road road)... The song is about movement, the road, somewhat like Yahrah from EARTHIOTIC... Where is in Yahrah its the broader, general call for the journey to friend or friends to keep things moving along despite the BS along the way, here the singers, slippers are broken but shes still wandering along trying to get the attention of her uncle as she has issues with her aunt, money, jewelry (& to much blah, blah, blah). This is in Marwari language, spoken in Sindh province of Pakistan and the Indian state of Rajasthan. The back line of youngsters, Zain Ali & Danish Khawaja (guitars) Sameer Ahmed (bass) Kami Paul (drums) from Punjab (Lahore) Pakistan compliment the front threes folk sounds of Moharram Fakir (dhol, drums), Mai Dhai (vocals & smile) and Jamal Sahabs harmonium with an underlining jazzy pop sounds with a very cool, groovy effect. This would be great on Coke Studio, but with the same line up and instrumentation (though they can have the stack of Vox and Marshall amps behind them). Crank it up and let Mai Dhai take you on a journey through the Sindh desert...chal chelain chal chelain...tee-m TEE-Ms Yahrah https://soundcloud/tariqm/yahrah
