MALINDO AIR OPERATES FROM IPOH Malindo Air launched its first ever flight route from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang to the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport in Ipoh. The inaugural flight in an ATR 72-600 turbo plane landed the Ipoh Airport almost full on Friday, October 3. There will be three flights a week, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Incidentally, this is the only service offered by a commercial airline along this route. It thus signifies Malindo Airs commitment in providing accessibility by air transport to all states in Malaysia, in support of the local tourism industry. Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy, told reporters that Malindo Air would introduce new flight routes in the near future such as Ipoh-Medan and Ipoh-Johor Bahru routes.
