MAN Diesel & Turbo Frederikshavn in Denmark, kicked off Danish Maritime Days by welcoming youngsters for at talk about possibilities of vocational training at our Service Center in Frederikshavn Harbour where every tenth colleague is an apprentice. Marc from the 9th grade at local elementary school Frydenstrandskolen said after the workshop tour: “I especially liked the fact that IT knowledge is essential in a workshop.” Marc’s next educational step is to pursue technical college. Danish Maritime Days is a major new event for the global maritime industry. It will bring together a broad spectrum of leaders from across the industry with the objective to find new solutions to the most important challenges facing the industry today and in the future.
