MAN IS RESPONSIBLE TO GOD There are two basic truths which run through the scriptures.God is sovereign and man is a responsible creature.I believe that the Bible teaches divine sovereignty;the right for God to do as He pleases,what He pleases,how He pleases,and when He pleases,because He is God. Being the sovereign God,He has in His sovereignty made us,His creatures,responsible to Him for all that we do,say or think.We are responsible to love God with all our heart,our soul,our mind,and our stregth,and love our neighbor as ourselves.As responsible creatures,we are to repent and believe,turn to God from sin,walk in the straight and narrow way of holiness,and keep ourselves unspotted from the world.We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling,pray and seek Gods face,worship Him in Spirit and in truth,and order our lives down here in the fear of God.
