MAN & MOSQUITOES It’s mosquitoes, the most dangerous insect ever. This is how scientists categorize it. However, where did this danger come from? Scientists say that mosquitoes are equipped with highly efficient techniques that make them the most dangerous in the world of insects. Every day, there are new discoveries about this weak creature for scientists have discovered recently that mosquitoes could know the place of a certain person based on the exhalation of this person. Allah, the almighty provided mosquitoes with techniques that could capture the carbon exhaled by man and analyze its quantity and source. Scientists also assert that this insect is extremely sensitive to carbon and even has capacities that surpass the most intricate devices made by man. We should, therefore, realise the significance and intricacy of this creature. Arent mosquitoes worthy of being mentioned in the Noble Quran? Let’s read the Qur’anic verses that respond to the infidels who objected to talking about mosquitoes in the Noble Qur’an: “Allah disdains not to use the similitude of mosquitoes or higher. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: What means Allah by this similitude? By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),” [Al-Baqarah or Heifer: 2: 26]
