I had not realized that this tribal custom of abducting children and wiping clean their memories used to be simply kidnapping. Add murdering the parents and you have children with nothing to go home to. With all Mangok has been through as a Lost Boy, he calls his brothers murder and the abduction of his 3 nieces and his 2-year-old nephew the hardest thing hes been through. Mangok is putting his own life at risk on this mission. Hes optimistic; Im praying. Hard. For Mangoks safety, for his success, and for those children, wherever they are. Theyve got to be so scared.
