MANITOBA HOUSING IS A BULLSHIT MONEY GRUB.. ETC ETC ETC.. Nope I do not live in that situation... but I know people who do. They dont fix the units..even with pics from professionals showing the mold .. or what ever else the issue is. They also say they are not responsible for the heat escaping through the windows and doors and refuse to fix them. Its not their responsibility. So when you are behind on something like you heat because it is hard to keep up with the bill..but you pay every month... they send you an eviction notice.. you call and ask what the hell.. they say.. well we will put you on a 15 amp service...what is that you say.. well its the equivelant to shutting off your heat.. its enough to just keep the pipes from freezing.. if you trip the then you lose power and what little heat you have and have to call to have it fixed and restarted... Unfortunately, people do need to have live in the place because rents are unreal.. money grubbing slumlords charge $$$$$ for dumps.. and you are stuck.. Well, this sounds bad but...its a fact.... housing is somewhat racist.... they DO NOT treat all tenants equally.. .. immigrants get treated better.. certain other ethnicities also get treated better.. and none do anything wrong..... and get away with a lot of things.. and what about those who are on welfare and work or have many people..who shouldnt be there.. plus they work.. and what about those who make a lot of money.. but they live in housing and shouldnt be there because of their income... I could say sooooo much more.. oh ya.. what about the useless security.. what a joke....again.... they dont treat people equally or impartial.. and the gang situations and the violence that is not from the gangs... so much bullshit.....There needs to be people who care in charge of the low rental housing in all communities.. not the idiots there now. Many of them act like they are doing you a favour by letting you live in such horrible bullshit crappy etc etc.. housing.. That is what I have to say at this point. Again I could say more but I wont because I know a few people who are stuck in this housing situation and know exactly what I am saying and more.
