MANZINI NETWORK MIGRATION The Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) would like to notify all its valued customers and stakeholders that we were migrating (upgrading) the existing legacy telecommunications network into the Next Generation Network (NGN) at the Manzini exchange area from Friday 05 December 2014 to Sunday 07 December 2014. This was aimed at improving service delivery and also providing high speed data (internet) services. The upgrade resulted in service interruptions from 19:00 hrs on Friday and the process was successfully completed on Saturday. Call Barring Procedure SPTC would also like to notify all its valued customers and stakeholders that due to the migration program above, the process of call barring (secret code) has changed. Below are the new instructions of locking and unlocking your fixed line. The new password should be 4 digits. Activation: *54* password 1# De-activation: #54* password# Please note that currently all lines have been given a default password, which is (1000). To change password: *541* old password *new password* repeat new password# ADSL users are requested to reset their modems to restart their internet. In the event that you still experience any problems; please visit the nearest telecentre or call the contact centre on 800 2000 or 971. We apologise for any inconvenience customers and stakeholders might have experienced during this period and would like to reassure all our customers of our continued commitment to service excellence.
