MARCH 4 RECAP: Yesterday was ACs first official Tuesday gathering at Miami-Dade College Medical Campus (right next to the morgue ;)! Congrats for branching out! Times will remain the same, 7pm-9pm, and given the wonderful weather, we will be meeting outside near the vending machines. Like I stated yesterday in my random annotation here in the AC page, the ball is rolling for everyone and changes are acomin! One thing we discussed amongst ourselves is how were able to continue walking forward with our goals BECAUSE of the support system we have: as a community, when we are feeling down, disappointed, getting hard on ourselves, discouraged, we learn to listen not only to the deep inner voice within ourselves that we CANT give up, but also to the Universe, the universe in this case being those around you who SEE your true potential. Gaias Glennis has been postponing her DR trip in order to achieve a higher financial goal for monetary stability while there. Her health, spiritual, emotional, and physical, is her main focus, but building a community is also aligned in her plans (and her cards). Recently, shes suffered a great loss, the loss of her beloved grandfather, a grand community leader, and I have great conviction that she will ALSO follow in his footsteps and that she will build great things with her huge, open heart and firey determination. DALE! Goals accomplished: Finished Mural, masturbachatera, and new, high paying job! Ashley told us about her new fellowship with Obama! She is now his personal assistant and writes all his speeches which she sends him via whatsapp!...Just kidding. Ashley has a lot better use of her time and, like Glennis, really wants to focus on working with the community. Her fellowship with the Obama administration focuses on healthcare and womens rights, but she will continue applying to other fellowships in order to gain the experience AND truly find out what she wants in her heart of hearts. Actually, I take that back. She already knows what she wants, she just wants to find the right niche ;) Spread your wings, Ash! Ivans Uwanda awaits! hahaha Goals accomplished: Ayahuasca journey (lareelareeheeeehooooo), Barrientos Beer, and fellowship! I had my first trip through my business XplorerZ this weekend and it was gr8 sokses! Thank you ALL for coming out and supporting me, but I want to thank a few individuals in particular for really going that extra mile: Chris for being open to lending his kayak; Ivan for helping with EVERYTHING, the business aspect, cooking, managing everyone, meditation session; Julie for cleaning up the morning after and getting coffee with Greg; Greg for coming ALL THE WAY FROM ALA-FREAKING-BAMA! Were all coming to visit you and were crashing in your basement, roof, bathtub, car, itdoesntmatterwerejustcomingsogetready; Glennis and Meli for helping cut up alllll those veggies Friday night. It was cray. I had to take Monday off from work because my body had succumbed to the fatigue. I have FOUR people I need to contact this week who will possibly help me further my business: I shall call them all TODAY (someone call me up later to confirm that I did). Not sure if many of you know, but I may be missing for a couple of weeks because I just got a new job and its at night. Ive yet to know my schedule, but I asked for Tuesdays off. Crossing fingers! Goals accomplished: first camping trip and two paintings Ivan is more determined than ever to make his one million dollars by the end of this year. A potential client from Panama is in our hood this week and he is getting ready to lay his game on him to CHA-CHING IT UP. I dont know if that even makes sense, but what Im trying to say is that this man is the key to Ivans exploration of the central-south American clientele. Let us send him good vibrations so that he can finally make his way down south to schmooze these fellows and give them a secure future for their families. Dynamo also needs to follow up on giving 50 presentations by the end of the year. Having also teamed up with Meli for their dating workshop, everything is going on smoothly and they have reached their third week! Three more to go! Goals accomplished: Riding a bike with no hands and going to Panama at the end of March. Gonzalozalozaloooooo! Im just going to put it out there that we all agreed on Gonzalo being the Hispanic John Mayer of the group. Now onto the important things: our newest member yet, Gonzalo has brought forth to the table many exciting ideas and is constantly helping other members with his myriad of resources. He is joining forces with Meli, as they both have great interests in the dynamic between male and females, and his main goal is to be able to build income solely off his writing, speaking, and workshops on masculinity and relationships between men and women. He also wants to explore the musician within himself and plan a small concerto for us and many others! He needs a venue, a percussionist, and a bass player. Any contenders?? And how can I forget the AB CHALLENGE! Anyone else wanting to join, Dynamo has more info coming along within the next few weeks. Goals accomplished: teaming up with Melissa and writing out his workshop plans. Melissa is soooooooooooooooooooo busy with work and she needs a break. But no matter how busy she is, she always comes to AC and I feel we all need to give her a virtual high five for the commitment because it is no easy effort. For someone who just a few months ago was completely worried about not having work, she is now working TOO much. Her workshop is working successfully, but she hopes to soon have enough time again for her to go about the city to get other clients. Melissas main goal is build enough monthly income through her business and the way things are going, I have no doubt in my mind that shell be branching off soon with all these new doors opening in her path ;). Lets make it rain!
