The rest of the day is free for leisure. SEPT 20 Day 06 Nice / Le Laus / La Salette Fallavaux Today onto Le Laus to visit the apparition of Our Lady to Benoite Rencurel. Then to La Salette, a small town of 200 people about 50 miles south of Grenoble, located in a high alpine pasture was the site of reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1846 to Maximin & Melanie. See the Basilica of Our Lady of La Salette. Outside the basilica, see the Valley of the Apparition.. SEPT 21 Day 07 La Salette Fallavaux / Lourdes After breakfast motor coach drive to Lourdes. Upon arrival you’ll be checked in to your hotel. Here at the Grotto of Massabielle, a beautiful lady proclaimed to a young sick child named Bernadette that she was the Immaculate Concepcion. Dinner at hotel SEPT 22 Day 08 Lourdes After breakfast, our guided tour of Lourdes will include the sanctuary; the Basilica of St Pius X, and the baths where hundreds of miraculous cures have taken place. See Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born and the Cachot, an abandoned prison where Bernadettes impoverished family lived. Time for private devotion. You may also attend the evening procession in honor of Our Lady. SEPT 23 Day 09 Lourdes / Barcelona After breakfast, motorcoach drive to Barcelona, Spain’s most cosmopolitan city. Upon arrival in Barcelona, check in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free SEPT 24 Day 10 Barcelona / Montserrat / Barcelona After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Monserrat and pay homage to the Black Madonna or “ La Moreneta”. Then back to Barcelona to see the famous Ramblas, with its open-air markets and cafes Then admire Gaudis extraordinary unfinished creation, the Sagrada Familia . SEPT 25 Day 11 Barcelona / Zaragoza / Madrid This morning, continue onto Zaragoza to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Pillar before proceeding to Madrid, the capital and largest city of Spain. SEPT 26 Day 12 Madrid / Toledo / Madrid After breakfast, start your day with a city sightseeing with a visit to the Royal Palace that actually used (but not owned) by the King of Spain. The Palace was built on the site of a former Alcazar, burned down in 1734 and it took 26 years to complete it. Then a short journey to Toledo, the former capital of Spain, where you’ll be able to see the 13th century Cathedral and one of Europe’s oldest synagogues, view of San Martin and Alcantara Bridges and Puerta del Sol. Some free time before you transfer back to Madrid SEPT 27 Day 13 Madrid / Fatima Onto Fatima , the place where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. After settling into your hotel, you may relax or participate in a candlelight SEPT 28 Day 14 Fatima Today sightseeing tour of Fatima, see the Little Chapel of the Apparitions, the old & new Basilica, the Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Ladys appearance after the childrens return from prison. SEPT 29 Day 15 Fatima / Santarem / Lisbon Then to SANTAREM, one of the oldest cities in the world and where the Church of St Stephen, contains the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle.
