MARINERS WARNING......LIFE SAFETY WARNING STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM FOR THE OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA OFF SHORE WATERS FROM 4 AM WEDNESDAY TO 4 PM THURSDAY. The National Weather Service offices in Medford, Oregon, Portland, Oregon, and Eureka, California have issued a Storm Warning for the off shore waters due to winds up to 60 knots sustained and gusts to 90 - 100 knots possible in waters beyond 10 miles out. Seas will be building to 30 feet with rogue waves possible to 50 feet or more. These are life threatening conditions and mariners are advised to remain in port until Thursday night to allow the worst of the conditions to subside. Even then.....strong small craft conditions will be present through Friday afternoon that will make putting to sea in small boats extremely hazardous.
